Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the HK Speed King website and reports. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them.

1.WHO WE ARE

HK Speed King is based in Victoria, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean HK Speed King. "You" means you.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be 18 or older to use this site or hold a subscription.

 

You are responsible for ensuring that using our service is lawful where you are. Betting and gambling laws differ by jurisdiction.

3. WHAT WE PROVIDE

We publish quantitative analysis of Hong Kong horse racing — model probabilities, rated prices, sectional and pace analysis, speed maps, form factors and analyst commentary.

 

What we provide is information and analysis.

It is not a recommendation to place a bet, and it is not financial, investment or legal advice. We are not a bookmaker or betting operator, we do not accept bets, and we do not facilitate betting.

4. YOUR ACCOUNT

You must give accurate information when you create an account, and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

One account is for one person. Sharing account credentials is not permitted. We monitor account access to detect sharing.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT

Subscription plans, prices, billing frequency, renewal and cancellation are governed by the subscription terms shown at checkout for the plan you select, which form part of these terms.

In summary: plans renew automatically until cancelled, prices are in Australian dollars, cancellation stops future billing and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund the unused portion of a billing period.

We may change prices on notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
 

6. USE OF OUR CONTENT

All content on this site and in our reports — including analysis, ratings, rated prices, charts, text, graphics and the underlying models — is our intellectual property or licensed to us.

 

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the reports for your own personal use while your subscription is active.

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, republish or share report content, in whole or in part

  • Share screenshots, extracts, or data derived from our reports

  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account

  • Use our content to create a competing product or service

  • Scrape, crawl or extract data from the site by automated means

  • Remove or alter any notice of ownership

 

Breach may result in suspension or cancellation of your subscription without refund, and we reserve our other legal rights.
 

7. AVAILABILITY AND INTERRUPTION

We aim to publish a report before each Sha Tin and Happy Valley meeting during the racing season, but we do not guarantee publication times, and we do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption.

The Hong Kong racing season runs approximately September to July. No reports are published during the off-season.

We may pause publication — for scheduled breaks, or unforeseen circumstances including illness, injury or technical failure. Where an extended pause occurs, we may suspend billing or cancel subscriptions. Subscriptions are usually cancelled at the end of each racing season.

8. THIRD-PARTY DATA

Our analysis uses race data from third-party sources. We take reasonable care but do not warrant that this data is accurate, complete or current.

Prices shown in reports are a snapshot at the time of generation. Markets move, and prices available to you may differ.
 

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their practices, or anything you do on them.

10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

 

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we suspect fraud or misuse, or if required by law. Where we terminate for breach, no refund is payable.

 

We may discontinue the service. Where we do, we will give reasonable notice and refund any period you have paid for but will not receive.

11. LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our content, or your breach of any law.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published here, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. Where a change is significant, we will tell you by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

15. GENERAL

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Our not enforcing a term does not waive our right to enforce it later.

 

These terms, together with the subscription terms shown at checkout, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us.
